Description |
The festival parade begins with a marching band, a girls' dance troupe, men in fancy dress collecting money for charity and decorated floats pulled by tractors. The Rose Queen and her retinue arriving at the show ground in a horse-drawn carriage followed by the coronation ceremony. Prizes are awarded by the Rose Queen to the best fancy dress and decorated float. |
