Description |
Scenes from a children's road safety training event held at Queen's Park in Burnley. Local dignitaries arrive at the park where a scaled-down road layout has been constructed. Children ride bicycles and tricycles safely around the layout, instructed and guided by police officers. Various supporting events are shown including an inspection of sea cadets, a dancing display, a Punch and Judy show, a 'best-trained dog' competition and various races. Prizes are handed out to children at the park and inside a local cinema. |
