Description |
Miscellaneous scenes of the Morley family - Includes footage of the family on a boat trip along the River Dart; eating picnics in the country and swimming in the sea. Also features scenes of some children climbing rocks on a beach and playing with a go-kart in the garden. Continues with views of Ullswater Reservoir and scenes of a royal visit to Manchester. King George V and Queen Mary are seen walking along a covered walkway in Albert Square. Rows of soldiers and nurses stand to attention in the background. Concludes with footage of some girl guides marching in a church parade. (Location unknown) Also features scenes from a scout camp. A group of boys are seen building a large bonfire (or beacon) on a cliff top. |
