Description

Scenes of dereliction and building of new flats in the Ordsall and Pendleton areas of Salford. There is footage of derelict homes, local people walking the streets, slum conditions inside the terraced houses, and shots of local shops (e.g. the 'Clip Shop'). A horse-drawn ice-cream van is featured, as well as a game of football and a church walking day.
