Description

Film documenting the coronation of Hope Church's Rose Queen, Margaret M Moores, in King George V's Jubilee year of 1935. A procession passes through the streets of Denton to the church cricket field where the Queen is crowned by Mrs Broadbent. After the ceremony children put on a display of folk dancing, and several members of the congregation are featured.
