Description

Brownies, girl guides and boys scouts can be seen outside St Andrews Parish Church in Cleveleys. A sign reads 'willing hands make time for others' as well as signs for Christian Aid Week, volunteers hold a fund-raising car wash. A sign reads 'Dick Turpin went by horse The Youth and Young in Heart chose "Abbotts"'. A group of people board a Abbotts of Blackpool coach, they stop off at The Coronation at Horton Bridge. The group arrive in York and go sightseeing including visiting the Castle Museum. A home-made title card reads 'Mothers visit the Ruins at Whalley.' A group of ladies wait outside St Andrews Church the board the bus to Whalley. When they arrive they visit Whalley Abbey. The film ends with a home-made title card that reads 'The Whit Walk that Wasn't' followed by scenes of a brass band taking part in the Whit Walk. Adults and children can be seen exiting St Andrews Parish church.
