Description |
Workers at the Wigan Coal and Iron Company prepare a chimney for demolition. They put dynamite into holes they have drilled into the base of the chimney. Using a plunger detonator, a worker sets off the dynamite and the chimney comes down. Crowds who had gathered to watch the chimney collapse, can be seen walking through what remains of the chimney. |
