Description

A video produced for GMPTE to show the importance they place on easy access for all to the Manchester Metrolink System. There are shots of passengers on the tram and we see people boarding and alighting at various stops. The commentary gives a history of the planning of the Metrolink System and the importance that was placed on accessibility to all people, including the elderly, the disabled, parents with children as well as people with luggage or large amounts of shopping. We are shown the facilities at the tram stops and on board the trams that enable easy access. We are also shown the security and safety measures in place that ensure all passengers travel safely.
