Description

Summer scenes from Yealand Manor School showing boys helping to dig drains, evacuee children with unidentified woman playing with building blocks and pupils playing instruments during a music lesson. Children with visiting family members [?] are seen playing in the grounds of Yealand Manor. Footage shows Staff, including Committee member John Robson with other teachers during an official visit [?] and Kindergarten Assistant Frederica Voss [?] sat with children on the steps of the Manor. Continues with children playing amongst the garden flowerbeds and in a paddling pool. Includes a sequence showing kittens in a basket and pram. Concludes with staff members [?] in a back garden sat on deckchairs.
