Commercial feature film produced by Altrincham County High School (for educational purposes) in 1927. 'The People of the Lake' tells the story of a group of lake dwellers living in the Bronze Age - A boy scout falls asleep while reading a book in a field - the dream sequence includes scenes of the lake dwellers weaving, spinning pottery, making weapons and fighting with an enemy tribe - the scout is then woken up by a group of friends. |
