Description |
Scenes from the Bollington Silver Jubilee Joustabout. We see people preparing for the event that takes place on the cricket pitch,they are busy building sets. We then see the event itself which takes place on a rainy day. People wander around, and buy drinks, ice creams and candy floss and the Bollington Brass Band provide the music. The proceedings begin with a performance by the Bollington Majorettes, then we see jousting with pantomime horses and a 'knockout' type event with obstacle courses and games. The Mayor then presents a trophy to the winning team. |
