Miscellaneous trims from 'Salford Festival 1980' (final edit accession number 1735). Includes scenes of people dancing to a live band at the Grand Ball held at Salford Art Gallery. Further scenes feature people standing inside a dockside warehouse, eating a buffet meal, before boarding a glass topped boat for a champagne cruise around Salford Docks. Concludes with spectators watching the festival parade on Eccles Old Road near Buile Hill Park. |
