Description |
Compilation of various Greenwoods' family film - snowy scenes in the Lancashire countryside, with a train going past. The family soft-drink business, T Greenwood & Sons Ltd are seen with a stall and van at Todmorden Carnival in 1964. Younger members of family and friends are seen, as well as footage of the Ffestiniog Mountain Railway in Wales. The family visit Ilkley open air swimming pool in 1954 and are seen out about in the Lancashire and Welsh countryside - hill-walking, having picnics and sitting by waterfalls. Brief scenes of John Stephenson's wedding to Stella in 1957 and footage of men digging on the side of a mountain during restoration work for the Ffestiniog Mountain Railway. |
