Description

King George VI and Queen Elizabeth are seen visiting Warrington on a royal visit. Includes shots of the royal party greeting war veterans and civic dignitaries before departing in an open topped car. The film also features a shot of nine uniformed women marching across a street (Warrington Football Club can be seen in the background); and domestic scenes of a family at home and in the their back garden. Includes a shot of a woman sitting in the garden reading a newspaper which has the headline ' Hitler arrives in Austria'.
