Compilation film featuring events in Liverpool and the Wirral - the opening of the Queensway Tunnel in July 1934; celebrations in Birkenhead and Liverpool for the Coronations of King George VI in 1936 and for Queen Elizabeth II in 1953; scenes from a 1930s' Society Wedding in Liverpool; a number of ship launches from Cammel Laird; a steam train journey from Lime Street; and scenes at the Devon Doorway pub in Heswall, Wirral.
