Description

Family scenes from the Leach family. The film begins with scenes from a small family gathering at home to celebrate a birthday. The family sit and chat and eat cake. We see Emily and Rachel being given their bath. In November the family celebrate Bonfire Night with fireworks in the garden. This is followed by Christmas scenes. We watch a nativity play, and back home Emily and Rachel play with balloons in the sitting room. On Christmas Eve the girls hang up their stockings and leave a mince pie for Santa. On Christmas Day we see the girls opening their presents. Later in December we see them painting pictures in the kitchen. There are snow scenes in February and we also see Rachel's birthday celebrations at home with the family. In April there is a trip to the zoo, and throughout the summer of 2003 we see the girls enjoying a wide range of activities at home in the family garden. They play in a treehouse, a paddling pool, a sandpit and on a trampoline. There are holiday scenes from Wales. The family visit Carmarthen Castle and Beaumaris Castle. They play on the beach and take a ride on a miniature railway. We also see them on board a ferry.
