A group of tenants from Gretney Walk, the high-rise, system-built flats in Hulme, meet in Mary's flat to plan a full Tenants' Association meeting in order to discuss the environmental hazards in the block. They talk about salmonella poisoning and the infestation of cockroaches that led to their collective action and the establishment of the Tenants' Association. |
