Description |
Salford Lads' Club boys are seen leaving the club building in Salford and arriving at London Road Station in Manchester to go to camp in Aberystwyth. On arrival, the lads are seen getting washed and presenting themselves for inspection. A meal is prepared and eaten, and some of the boys are seen washing up afterwards. Drinks are handed out and the whole group poses for the camp photograph. On a day trip to the beach at New Quay, the lads and leaders are seen larking around, relaxing and playing football. A more organised game of football is played back at camp. The lads are seen swimming and diving in the river and on the last day, there is footage of the tents being packed away, and everybody getting onto coaches to go to the station. |
