Description |
Exteriors of Ryleys Preparatory School with crowds of children watching the laying of the foundation stone for the Ryleys Centenary Hall. Pupils place coins in the mortar before the stone is laid by Edmund-Hine Esq. Speeches then a brass band and a religious blessing service conclude the ceremony. A Christmas concert is held with pupils playing the piano, trumpet, violin, trombone and guitar. Classroom scenes at Ryleys with pupils reading followed by a cake being brought to the top table in the schools dining room as pupils clap and cheer. |
