Description |
Film featuring activities undertaken by Horwich Independent Methodists. These include various sports and games - including cricket - a stone laying ceremony at Top o' th' Brow and a Young Person's Rally at Rivington Pike. There is much larking about and posing for the camera. A couple of weddings are featured - people are seen visiting a farm, a man in a suit is seen sitting on a cow - and various processions are seen. There is also footage of a group of people, mainly middle-aged women, relaxing in a large garden. They dance around and play with a whoopee cushion. Children are also seen playing in a park, taking part in a fancy dress event and dancing. |
