Description

Footage of the 'Mardon' system for the shrink-wrap packaging of canned food. Cans work along a conveyor belt in a factory and are placed in batches of twelve into boxes which a separate arm of the machine has already made up. Two boxes are then wrapped, one on top of the other, in plastic. The final stage of the process is the heat treatment, which shrinks the plastic tightly around the boxes.
