Charles Powell, winner of the snapshot competition, and his fiancee Ella Blenkharn, are guests of honour at the Paramount Cinema in Manchester where he is presented with the trophy, medal and cheque by Mr. C.B. Cochrane in front of an invited audience. Shots of the Paramount at night and members of the public looking at an exhibition of the best entries and the winning snap. Also present is the Isle of Man chemist who developed the snap. |
