Description

A mixture of scenes from a school sports day and a trip to the Lake District. We also see a cricket match and two boys playing football in the back garden. The sports day scenes include running races, egg and spoon races and a tug-of-war. Afterwards the winners are presented with trophies. The scenes from the Lake District show the family hillwalking in their smart clothes and we see the scenery around Langdale. The cameraman jokingly films from a moving car as a lady chases after them. We also see shots from Gretna Green, the sign on the Blacksmith's Shop reads 'This is the famous Old Blacksmith's Shop and Marriage Room Gretna Green'.
