Description |
The climax of the football season has over 100,000 spectators at Wembley for the Bolton Wanderers v Blackpool F.A. Cup Final of 1953. After shots of the players getting ready we see the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh arrive and the Duke is introduced to the players. A thrilling match ends in a 4-3 victory for Blackpool and the Queen hands the trophy to the Blackpool captain. Stanley Matthews is seen in the changing room clutching his winners medal. |
