Description

Transfer of VHS camera original footage from a film about the day-to-day lives of a group of women living on the Riverside housing estate adjoining WFA, on the border of Hulme and Old Trafford in Manchester. Includes Dot McGovern and her children, Mary Mitchell and her children and three other young families. Addresses issues of women's dilemmas regarding childcare responsibilities and working outside the home in the context of hardening financial circumstances with cuts in services.
