Description |
Footage of a festive event in a Bradford park. Father Christmas is seen in a horse-drawn cart - he plays a trumpet and waves at the children. There is a procession, some of those involved are in fancy dress. A young girl is seen playing with her doll and writing 'Christmas Greetings' on a blackboard - she is also seen pushing the dolls pram along a street. A holiday to Blackpool is also featured, the young girl is seen playing on a beach and on some grass with her father. The Riding family board a tram and there are shots from a rollercoaster. A play is being performed in a Bolton (?) street, with players dressed in Elizabethan costume. A group of clergymen are seen - after brief shots of a civic car driving along a crowd lined street. They are seen in a meeting and then on a street - where various other people are chatting. |
