Description |
Introduced by Tony Warren, the creator of Coronation Street, in the Gay Village in Manchester, the film follows the events of this major gay and lesbian festival and their response to HIV. The film covers performances, the procession along Princess Street past Manchester Town Hall and interviews visitors, gay and straight. At the end a large crowd commemorates those who have died through a silent candlelit vigil. |
