Description

A film of a journey by horse-drawn canal boat through a rural area, shot from the moving boat and showing passing scenery and people on the towpath. A canal worker demonstrates to two boys how to operate the lock machinery; the boys eat tubs of Lyons ice cream, then the journey continues. People on the towpath make way for the horse, and at one point, swimmers in the canal hastily make way for the boat. The reel ends with boys fishing in the canal and shots of a waterfall.
