Description |
Footage of a holiday to the Isle of Man taken by pupils and staff from Kirkby Simmonswood County Primary School in 1957. After scenes on the ferry (including staged footage of a girl getting sea-sick), the party arrives in the Isle of Man. There are shots of the children playing cricket, eating and visiting the beach. They visit Peel Castle, and do gymnastics in the sports hall. The film ends with some of the children boarding a British and European Airways plane home, while others take the ferry to Liverpool. |
