Description |
A group of ladies are seen sightseeing at Bowness, splashing in a pond, playing rounders and visiting a ruined castle. People disembarking from a ferry at Douglas, with shots of horse-drawn trams on the sea front, water park rides and youths waiting for a ferry to Fleetwood. Boys and girls running races in a field, followed by netball, novelty foot races and views of the fun fair at New Brighton. Gymnastics and callisthenics are then seen in the school yard at Trinity Secondary Modern School in Preston. A party of holidaymakers are seen walking from their bus up a fell side. Scenes of feeding seagulls on a beach and queuing for oysters from a vendor. Views of children shovelling snow and throwing snowballs in the school yard and workmen demolishing a wall with a pneumatic drill. Views from sports day conclude. |
