After opening footage of people outside Burnley market, there are shots of a small procession of Independent Labour Party supporters, headed by a loudspeaker van, with a display of placards. The film cuts to a street procession of Burnley Communist Party supporters, carrying banners and placards, They congregate on a patch of wasteland to listen to a woman's speech. |
