Description

Scenes of Mr Ralph Brookes' daughter and two young grandsons sitting in a living room reading an American Newspaper (the Detroit Free Press). The headlines read 'World Mourns Churchill'. The woman points to the front page and shows her children the headline. Further scenes include the Brookes family on a visit to Parkgate; Cheshire. Includes travelling shots of the journey and footage of Nicholas and Philip, wrapped up in hats and coats, digging in the sand with their buckets and spades.
