Description

Filmed using standard and special effect techniques. A young boy can see seen playing with toys in the living room. A couple, Norman and Joan are both dressed in military uniforms, get into the Christmas spirit. They do some reading, joke around, kiss for the camera, decorate a Christmas tree and smoke Lucky Strike cigarettes. The filmmaker uses various effects such as reverse motion when Norman is smoking, Nance drinking wine and taking petals off a flower. Fast motion effect is applied to scenes of Nance sewing and of the young boy riding his bicycle up and down a country lane. The film ends with the young boy going to bed and the adults relaxing in the living room.
