Description |
At the Bring and Buy Sale, mothers and children look around the different stalls. A group of children perform traditional dancing for the crowd. In the next section of the film, we see scenes from Walton Preparatory School Sports Day. The children take part in various races such as sack races, running, egg and spoon, three legged races and hanging handkerchiefs on a washing line. Later the children sit with their mothers and have some ice cream. The film cuts to scenes from St George's Home Garden Fete. Children can be seen buying sweets from a stall. Men take part in various stall games. A group of young boys perform different stretches and exercise routines for the crowd. A woman sits holding a crystal ball as a fortune teller reads her future. |
