Description |
After a wide view of the town (probably Weaste) from higher ground, there are street scenes, and shots of people leaving church and talking outside. There are scenes of children playing ball-games in a school-yard, shots of houses and the girls playing netball, inter-cut with reaction shots from a small child. There are scenes from a building site, with men digging foundations with picks and shovels: factory exteriors; suburban housing, and a woman with numerous small children walking up a street. A boys sports team are presented with a shield, girls play rounders in a field, and there are more shots of the building site. The film ends with views of a church, and of a priest leaving it and posing for the camera. |
