Description

Sybil and Leslie Bletcher leave their caravan at Beetham and go on a trip around the Lake District - crossing Lake Windermere by ferry, and visiting Hawkshead, Grange over Sands, Witherslack Hall and finally Bowland Bridge for a pint of shandy. They then return to the caravan for tea. They also visit Brockhole, a Beatrix Potter display, Conishead Priory and Jenny Brown Point to look at the boats. They go walking at Stickle Ghyll and on a tour of the Hornsea Pottery factory. Finally, the Bletchers go to Morecambe, where they see a bed race on the sea front, and watch a 'Mr Muscle' competition at a swimming pool.
