Description

The adventures of Martie the Golden Labrador. We see Martie and another Golden Labrador with her puppies on the farm. When the puppies are a little bigger we see them playing in the garden. There are a variety of dogs of all shapes and sizes and they all play happily together. They chase each other and play fight and play with a ball and rubber ring. There are close up shots of a blue tit pecking at a piece of cheese and later at a foil milk top which he pecks through to get at the cream. Martie is seen digging in an earth bank where he finds a baby rabbit. He brings the baby rabbit out of it's burrow but he doesn't seem to mean any harm, he licks the rabbit and eventually he lets it run away. A man is filmed feeding a tame raven, the cat turns up to investigate and the man feeds them both. Then Martie arrives and chases them both away. A man sunbathes in the garden, Martie licks his bare feet and then eventually settles down to sunbathe with him.
