Description |
This short documentary records the efforts of the Norfed diving group as they try to recover the steering wheel from a French cargo steamer, the Longwy, sunk by a U-boat off the Scottish coast in 1917, and still causing problems for fishing boats in the area. The film includes scenes of planning for the expedition, life aboard the MFV Spindrift as it sails to the site of the wreck, and diving scenes, culminating in the wheel being successfully detached and brought to the surface. |
