Description |
Film about redevelopment in the Salford Quays area, and specifically about the relocation and restoration of a defunct swing bridge to become a pedestrian walkway. The bridge is moved onto large rafts and tugged to its new position, where it is painstakingly restored. Other footage describes the history of the Ship Canal and Salford Docks, and displays the new amenities. |
