In the late 1990s, the process of stock transfer of social housing began in Britain, resulting in a large proportion of council properties being owned and managed by housing associations. The Heatherway and Racecourse estates in Trafford, Greater Manchester were amongst those proposed for transfer. This film, produced for Irwell Valley Housing Association, details the proposed redevelopment and improvements available if residents vote to transfer ownership of their homes over from Manchester City Council. |
