Description

A fictional film advertising Carborundum products. A young man in an office telephones his girl friend and proposes to her. He agrees to visit her parents but dinner at her house is a disaster due to her father's bad temper over a blunt carving knife. A further dinner party goes well because the young man has introduced her father to Carborundum products for knife sharpening, and he consents to their engagement. We see them being 'filmed' and the young man tells the crew to put the lights out.
