Description |
In October 1953 The Coal Board hold a trial for four manufacturers of dump trucks at Arkwright Colliery in North East Derbyshire. The manufacturers taking part are Foden, AEC, Euclid and Scammell. Each manufacturer puts their vehicles through the trial, they have to drive through a course that has been constructed with various hazards and complete a range of tasks. When the trials are complete other manufacturers are given the opportunity to demonstrate different types of industrial vehicles. |
