Description

A look at the early life of Simon, we see all of his early landmarks which are clearly titled. We see him as a new born in October 1968. He is bathed and dried by his mother, and then fed by an elderly relative. There are scenes from Christmas in 1968 and 1969, from his Christening party, his first birthday and with his first haircut. We see him in his pram and high chair, in the garden, with his relatives and at the seaside. There is a visit from another toddler, Jane. The family also visit a park where they feed a herd of deer. In April 1970 his sister Emma arrives. We see her being bathed and she appears in some of the later scenes with Simon.
