Description

This short film depicts a Masonic family day event being held at Ormerod Hall in Burnley. The film shows a range of different contemporary entertainments, including golf, live comedy, piano playing, and a small orchestra playing (which a small girl intensely scrutinises). There is also an interesting game (similar to a piñata) which participants are blindfolded and attempt to strike a hanging object with a stick. There is also afternoon tea on the lawn for the group, and many of the attendants engage with the camera, making faces and smiling towards it.
