Description

Various Nightingale family days out including skating at Tarn Hows, swimming at Fell Foot, Windermere and walking in several locations including Castlerigg Stone Circle and Tilberthwaite. The Nightingale children are seen in a rowing boat, Peter Nightingale mends a canoe in the garden, and there are views of September flooding close to Lake Windermere, Rossall Point seafront on a windy day and the family skiing at Kirkstone. Also includes scenes from a South Coast holiday, a charity 'Cross Bay Walk' at Morecambe Bay, the Nightingale family in the garden, and children swimming in the River Dudden and cooking sausages on nearby rocks.
