Footage from the 1974 expedition to Changabang in the Himalayas with commentary overlaid. A team of mountaineers including Chris Bonington, Doug Scott, Martin Boyson and Dougal Haston are accompanied by Indian porters and cattle carrying supplies as they make their ascent. Shots include a cook preparing food on stoves, the team setting up base camp and tackling the rock face during a snow storm. |
