Description |
Lancashire scouts are seen setting off by train and fixing camp in the Alsace region of France at the 1947 World Jamboree. Scenes at the Jamboree including a visit by the Chief Scout, Lord Rowallan are followed by views of buses and trains at Chartres railway station and of sightseeing around Paris. Camping and swimming at Wray, followed by a walk to Wray Castle and preparing porridge. Taking a ferry to Douglas, playing cricket on the beach and roaming the coastline.
