Description |
To celebrate Bacup's 90th anniversary, an exhibition is held to display the history of Bacup including the companies that have operated there. People can be seen looking around the different stalls and photographs on show. A procession led by a brass band makes its way down the street, followed by girl guides, brownies, boy scouts and clergymen. Later some games are held including some men balancing buckets of water on bicycles. Outside a marquee, people gather with their pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and ponies. |
