Gretney Walk, one of the high-rise, system-built blocks of flats in Hulme, Manchester where a tenant, Tom, sits with his baby daughter talking about the impact the cockroach infestation has had on his family's life - his pregnant wife's departure to her mother's and his inability to take employment because of childcare duties. He talks about the response of the Housing Officer and the difference the Tenants' Association has made to the effectiveness of their action. |
