Description |
Family and friends arrive at the church followed by the bride Heather Foster and her father. The bride and groom exit the church and photographs are taken. Confetti is thrown on the happy couple as they make their way to the wedding car. Rural garden scenes with an elderly couple and friends. Shots of a swarm of bees in the garden. An elderly woman sits in the garden while sewing a dress. The film contains scenes of both Wrightington and Parbold walking days including shots of children walking in the processions, banners, floats, horse-drawn carts and rose queens. The next scene is of a different wedding, guests arrive at the church soon followed by the bride (Gillian Thomas) and her father. The newlyweds emerge from the church and have photographs taken. The film ends with scenes from both Eccleston and Coppull walking days followed by a tea party in the church grounds. |
